City Parks


Lindbergh Park. Located a block west of the Post Office at 300 7th Street. Swings, picnic tables, sand digger, and a basketball court make up this park as it is perfectly situated along the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail.

North Shore Park. Located on the southwest side of Madison Lake at 717 Point Ave. Restrooms, picnic tables and shelter, swings, lake access. Handicap accessible fishing pier.

Fasnacht Park.  Located on the northeast side of the City. T-ball field. Playground equipment, basketball court, and t-ball field.

Pines Park.  Located on the northeast side of the City in the Pines Subdivision. Playground equipment.

The scenic Sakatah Trail is 39 miles of hard surface trail enjoyed by bikers and hikers during the summer months, while cross-crounty skiers, snow-shoers, and snowmobilers enjoy the trail during the winter months. The Sakatah Trail passes along the north part of Madison Lake showcasing the beautiful lakes of Ballantyne, Madison, and Duck. The Sakatah Trail runs east to west starting near Warsaw and ending near Mankato.
